“SEVEN EYES” is indeed a name that carries a wealth of meaning and inspiration. It beautifully encapsulates a variety of musical perspectives, styles, and influences. The reference to the seven notes in a scale or the seven energy centers in the subtle body adds depth and richness to its interpretation. A host of interpretations are welcomed by the duo. It’s a testament to the diversity and universality of music, and the myriad ways it can be experienced and understood.

Seven Eyes - musical collaborations
An Offering. The three musicians came together at the Nirmal Arts Academy in Canajohare, New York 2019. One evening they spontaneously recorded this collection of meditative renditions of various raags, each guiding the listener to meditate upon a particular mood. The titles given to each piece are inspired by the attributes of the deities residing in each chakra. The ultimate ambition of the project is to allow the listener to connect deep within herself/himself to attain a meditative state of thoughtless awareness. The trio aim to record again this coming January 2020 to expand upon this brief yet deeply inspired musical meeting.

The Seed
“This album (The Seed) isn’t about just making things that sound cool and new. Both artists have a long, invested and humble relationship with the traditions which they draw on. The combination of cultures is anything but a clash: it’s harmony, it’s creation and it’s beautiful.” – IndieBerlin Review
Senses
“Uplifting mesmerising, everything that you want music to do!” – BBC Asian Network
