Series Portraits in watercolour

The art of portrait painting is a complex and challenging discipline. Capturing the personality and essence of a human being is a daunting task for any artist. Every line, shape, colour, and brush stroke in a portrait reflects the artist's self-portrait while portraying someone else. It's more than just an aesthetic approach; it's a spiritual bond between the artist and the subject. I enjoy painting portraits of children the most because of their innocence, big eyes, and openness to the world. Every day is an adventure for them, full of new challenges, conquests, and discoveries. They live in a world where they might still be oblivious to problems, protected by their parents.

Series Nature´s soul

Before the COVID-19 pandemic that shook the world in 2020, most of us lived at a fast pace, without much time to pause, reflect or enjoy the simple pleasures of life. However, 2020 brought about a significant change in this regard, at least for me. I missed being able to go on long walks amidst nature, which is why I started painting my plants and flower Series. The pandemic also brought about the need to meditate more, reflect on our lives, and indulge in creative activities in all possible ways.
