BORDER LANDSCAPES. Life is a journey and for many this journey means literally going far away, walking beyond the border, obliged to “skip por el aro”, jump into the circle of the lion, taking risks, trusting in luck, hoping to be able to return soon or never return more … But right there where the path becomes more dangerous even the nature of the landscape becomes hostile, almost emulating, mocking, human absurdity.

Starting from the forms of the cactus vegetation that characterize the arid land of the border between Mexico and the USA, we have replaced its spines with equally dangerous and threatening glass that inhibits the passage. The darker circle symbolizes the Mexico from which you are escaping, where its sharp glasses are very evident, bright green in contrast with the red bronze; the white circle instead symbolizes the land of the “whites” where everything seems easier and where the sharp, equally white glasses appear at first glance not to be there.
